Story Club is a charitable open mic for stories. We're held twice a month - 1st Tuesdays at The BottleHouse Brewing Company and 2nd Wednesdays at Forest City Brewery.
|
Story Club Cleveland on Cleveland NPR, WCPN's The Sound of Ideas.
How it Works:
- There are 3 open mic slots per show. Open mic participants are given 8 minutes (1300 words) in which to tell a true story. If more than 3 storytellers sign up we’ll draw names for the slots.
- There are 2 featured performers for each show, who are paid for their work. Want to be featured? Come see the show, and then email a true story (1600 words max) to dana@storyclubcleveland.com for consideration.
- Audience votes for their favorite story and the winner is published in Story Club Magazine!
- The $10 suggested donation helps support charity and pays our performers. You can pay cash at the show, Venmo us @story-club, or hit us up via PayPal using this here button. So far, we've raised over $4000 for local charities!
